FOIL WORK

Foil.jpg

*Foiling service price is based on normal, healthy canvas who’s starting natural hair color is dark blonde or lighter or for those with natural dark hair that want warm tone sun-kissed highlights such as caramel or honey. (Price stated is for 1 application only, includes a Detailed Glaze, Blow Dry/Style.)

Natural dark hair, previously colored, multi-colored canvas with previous highlights involves more difficult process and is considered BLONDING PROJECT. We recommend booking a consultation if you are unsure of the services.

PARTIAL FOIL WORK starting at $280 - $368+

(approximately 3.5+ hours)

(This service is offered to clients who have received a full head foil with Color Lounge or for someone who wants minimal sun-kissed highlights. Great for maintenance after a full head of foil. This gives your hair a break and allows you to minimize bleaching the majority of your hair more often than needed. This covers the client’s partings/hairline and consists of up to 20 foils. A Partial is NOT full coverage service. If you desire something bolder, you will NEED a Half Head, Full Highlight, or Microfoil work.)

PARTIAL LOWLIGHTS starting at $160 - $210+

(approximately 2+ hours)

(This covers the client’s partings/hairline and consists of up to 20 foils. Lowlighting involves *only a deposit of hair color, normally something darker [at least 2 shades darker than one’s existing hair color] to break up demarcation lines from previous highlights, to create depth in the hair, or to add another color to create a multi-dimensional over all look. A Partial is NOT full coverage service. If you desire something bolder, you will NEED a Half Head, Full Highlight, or Microfoil work.)

HALF HEAD FOIL WORK starting at $400-$600+

(approximately 4+ hours)

(This provides medium to full coverage. Placement of the foils is meant to give enough contrast to be able to see dimension in the hair. Half head placement is recommended for any virgin canvas that wants a “highlighted look.”)

HALF HEAD LOWLIGHTS starting at $200 - $263+

(approximately 2.5+ hours)

(This provides medium to full coverage. Placement of the foils is meant to give enough contrast to be able to see dimension in the hair. Lowlighting involves *only a deposit of hair color, normally something darker (at least 2 shades darker than one’s existing hair color to break up demarcation lines from previous highlights, to create depth in the hair, or to add another color to create a multi-dimensional over all look.)

FULL HEAD FOIL WORK starting at $500-$750+

(approximately 5+ hours)

(Full Highlights give the hair the most change providing full coverage yet still leave room for the guest’s natural hair color to shine through. Trends these days require clients to do a full highlight to create an overall lightness in hair color. Clients who also come in requesting a balayage may actually need a foiliage [balayage painting technique in foils to create maximum lift from heat in enclosed space] to achieve the desired look. This is when a full highlight is needed. FULL HEAD Foil Work is necessary for a virgin canvas.)

FULL HEAD LOWLIGHTS starting at $240-$315+

(approximately 3+ hours)

(Placement of the foils covers the whole head with 1 inch spacing in between. This option is good for someone who wants to have an overall darker look without covering the whole head, allowing the natural lightness of the hair to remain and shine through. This is also great for people who want to break up the strong demarcation line from a solid color allowing the hair to grow out more softly without having to come as often in between appointments for touch ups. Lowlighting involves *only a deposit of hair color, normally something darker (at least 2 shades darker than one’s existing hair color to break up demarcation lines from previous highlights, to create depth in the hair, or to add another color to create a multi-dimensional over all look.)

MICRO-FOILING starting at $600-$900+

(approximately 6+ hours)

(Micro-Foiling is used to achieve the maximum lightness of the hair without being a solid blond. This requires thin detailed subsections to cover ground and can take between 3-4 hours to foil the hair plus the processing and toning time. It is best for those who want to be mostly blonde without the intense grow out. Also great for platinum blondes who want to transition to less maintenance hair by breaking up the line of demarcation.)

PLATINUM CARD $800-$1,200+

(approximately 6-8+ hours)

(Platinum card highlights does not leave any hair untouched. Starting from the back of the nape, thin slices are placed in foil with lightener to achieve maximum lightness and can get someone to platinum blonde depending on the darkness and health of the hair.)

ADD ON: ACCENT FOIL/FACE FRAME HIGHLIGHTS $50 - $75+

(Front piece highlights to create brightness around the face. This service can only be added and paired with a Color Root Touch Up or Standard Base Color Service. Price is for 1 application only and may require Color Glazing afterwards.)
