Booking/ Cancellation Policy

New Clients:  Security deposit is required to reserve an appointment between $60-$300 depending on the service, which will go towards your service. 

Existing Clients: We may request a deposit for bigger projects. 

Security Deposit: Security deposit is non-refundable if cancelled, rescheduled, or No Show within 48 hours. No exceptions. 

Security deposit is refundable if cancelled prior to 48 hours minus a $10 non-refundable convenience fee, unless you reschedule your appointment. 

All Clients that cancel, reschedule, or do not show within 48 hours of their appointment, will be charged a $50 broken appointment fee or deposit retained.

We understand that unfortunate events may occur that will force you to cancel last minute. Please understand that we are a small business and we are at a loss when guests cancel and therefore our cancellation policy must still apply. 

Late Policy:

If you are late, part or the full service appointment could be forfeited, depending if the stylist is able to perform the services originally planned and a late fee will be incurred. 

Sick Policy:

We will not be accepting sick clients, those showing any signs of symptoms, or have a high temperature. 

If you or someone you are in close contact with anyone that has shown symptoms, are sick, have/had COVID-19/the FLU in the last 14 days of your appointment, or awaiting COVID-19 test results, please cancel immediately. We want to ensure the salon is a safe environment for other clients and staff members.

We will help you reschedule your appointment for a later date.

We reserve the right to refuse service to clients with repeat cancellations and No Shows, as well as, clients who come intoxicated or are heavily medicated. 

Refund Policy

There are no refunds for any hair services or products purchased from Color Lounge.

If in the case, client changes their mind and decides not to go through with the service, there will be no refund on their deposit.

Other Salon Rules & Regulations

Animals: Service pets & ESA pets that are well behaved.

Small children not allowed unattended by law. If you want to bring your child, the child must have adult supervision other than yourself.

Understanding Pricing

At Color Lounge, we strive to create a unique style and identity for each individual client. We base our pricing on several different factors, such as: 

• Length of Hair

• Density of Hair

• Quantity of product used (Some clients may have short hair, but very dense hair; therefore more products will be used and an additional Extra Color fee or Extra Hair fee will apply.)

• Time spent 

  • Haircuts generally take 1-1.5 hours from start to finish

  • Overall Base Color can take a minimum of 2 hours and up

  • Highlights, Blonding, Balayage, and other specialty Hair Coloring can take at least a minimum of 4 hours and up

• Stylist's Demand on their Time

Certain services may be based on an Hourly rate, such as Color Correction, Blonding, Vivid Hair Color, Hair Extensions, Brazilian Blow Out, or any Transformative services due to the fact that there is no definitive, standard length of time needed to finish and achieve the desired results.

*All Haircuts/Color/Lightening Services include a Standard Blow Dry or Diffusing Service. Please inform front desk/your stylist if you have thick, dense, coarse, or extra curly hair and request for Additional Time or Additional Iron Work to ensure that you will leave the salon with a finished style. Additional fees will apply.

*Note that a root touch up is considered to be no more than 1 inch from the scalp to the demarcation line. Anything longer than your heat zone will result in multiple processes and in some cases, a color correction.) Please ask your stylist for the recommended time to come back for a root touch up application (Normally between 4-6 weeks).
