Heavy bleaching towards the ends of hair paired with a deeper more dramatic solid root. The term ‘ombre’ comes from the French and means to “graduate in tone”.
The “Color Lounge” opened its doors the beginning of April 2014. Previously known as “My Bella Color Studio”, we are located in the heart of the Burbank Media District near Warner Bros., Disney, and NBC Studios.
Inspired and professionally trained by the owner/educator/master hair colorist, Sharon Sovinski, of My Bella Color Studio, Color Lounge’s new driving forces, Grace Ilasco (Hair Stylist/American Board Certified Haircolorist) and Sai Hernandez (Hairstylist/American Board Certified Haircolorist), are transcending the archetypal way of doing hair to the fine art of creating beauty, unique to each client.
We are a full service Hair Salon for Women & specialize in Haircuts, Haircolor, Color Correction, Blondes, Highlights, Balayage, Creative Hair Color, “Going Back to Gray”, Brazilian Blow Outs, and Hair Extensions.
Color Lounge has also incorporated their existing company, “For Your Brides Only”, a network of professional mobile hair and make-up artists, to work side by side with their in-salon studio staff to provide clients with the ultimate beauty care experience at their convenience. Our mobile staff will travel to your location to provide you with the best fashion styling, wedding hairstyles, updos, long lasting make up/airbrush make up for weddings, events, films, and fashion.
The salon, itself, is designed to create a very relaxed and artistic environment. You’ll feel this from the moment you enter our doors. The space is large and wide open - more like a New York Loft -style with a high, wooden trussed, domed ceiling and custom painted concrete floor. The atmosphere feels different, too. There are no attitudes in this creative space, and our staff is welcoming, friendly, attentive, taking their time with each client in a no hurry manner. Each client deserves a confident relationship with their stylist, and we take the time to ensure that happens.
Our professional staff at Color Lounge is inspired by “the Art of creating beauty” and dedicated to listening to each individual client’s vision and needs, helping them achieve those results in ease.
